Neo Sports
NEO Sports is an Indian pay television channel, launched by Nimbus Communications on October 1, 2006. Which is dedicated to cricket programming. The channel has exclusive rights to broadcast all International and Domestic cricket matches played in India. However, the channel is forced to share the feed with the free-to-air channel Doordarshan. NEO Sports also carries International cricket games played in Bangladesh. Due to factors such as high subscription price, and lower availability across the country the channel is hardly known to most of the cricket lovers.

NDTV Live
NDTV (New Delhi Television Limited), founded in 1998, is India's largest private television production house. It was founded by its current chairman and director, Prannoy Roy. NDTV currently has more than 1,000 employees producing news from over twenty plus locations nationally and internationally. As of 2006, NDTV 24x7 held one of the largest market share, at 31%, among English news channels in the country.

CNN - IBN Live News Channel
CNN-IBN is an English language Indian TV news channel. The network is a partnership between Global Broadcast News (GBN) and Turner International (Turner) in India. Rajdeep Sardesai is the Editor-in-Chief of the network. The Indian company GBN runs the channel completely but uses the CNN brand name and in-return giving Time Warner a 26% stake. The network broadcasts 24 hours a day. The network models most of its programming similar to that of CNN in the United States, with current event talk programs mixed with news reports. The flagship evening program, India at 9, is usually broadcast daily on CNN Pipeline, although is not simulcasted (except during breaking news events, such as the 11 July 2006 Mumbai train bombings). It is one of the first news channel in India to have the concept of "Citizen Journalist" where any person can send in his report to the channel which is aired in a separate section.

Star Majha is a 24-hour free-to-air Marathi news channel broadcasted in India. It was launched on 22 June 2007 and delivers news in the Marathi language. It is a co-production of MCCS and ABP TV which also runs two other news channels: STAR News (Hindi) and Star Ananda (Bengali). It is a joint venture of the two companies mentioned above in 74:26 ratio shareholding. Rajiv Khandekar is the editor of the news channel which is headquartered in Mumbai. Star Majha has set up an extensive bureau network in Maharashtra and India.

Star Vijay - Tamil entertainment channel
STAR Vijay is a popular Indian entertainment channel broadcasting in Tamil. The channel is available in India, Sri Lanka as well as the US, catering for the Tamil diaspora.
It is best known for serving its viewers with a mix of content, not limited to mega serials/daily soaps like other Tamil channels. The main reason of success of STAR Vijay is it's share of reality shows. Reality shows were first introduced to the audiences by STAR Vijay. Sun TV - Tamil television channel
Sun TV is a regional Tamil language Indian cable television station. It is the flagship channel of the Chennai-based Rs 16000-crore Sun Network. It was the first fully privately owned Tamil channel in India when it emerged in 1993. It remained privately held until 2006 when it was listed on the two main Indian stock exchanges - the National Stock Exchange of India and Bombay Stock Exchange.
Since its inception the Sun Network had the blessing and support of the DMK, in line with the general trend in South India where large media houses are directly or indirectly controlled by political parties. This overt support came to an end in November 2005 after a public rift between the DMK president Mr. M Karunanidhi and the management of The Sun Network.

Star Utsav
STAR Utsav is the new free-to-air Hindi general entertainment channel. It shows some of STAR Plus' popular programs. This channel is available in India, also avaivable in Indonesia via Telkomvision. STAR Utsav caters to viewers who have recently entered the fold of cable and satellite television. It gives them the opportunity to revisit the glory years of Indian television programming by re-running the best shows from the extensive STAR Plus library.
